Burnt out and creatively stifled after a decade in corporate America, Kara spent 3 years obsessively running hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds) of candle tests in a 40-square foot Chicago kitchen to bring Beatrix & Co to life.
At Beatrix & Co., they hand make funky, feel-good candles for vibrant people. People who love bright colors and loud music. People that move through the world trying to make it a better place. People who aren't afraid to be authentic and different and beautiful in their own way.

Kara spends her free time hanging with her rescue dog (Abby has been Beatrix & Co.'s employee of the month for 36+ months in a row!), mentors other women entrepreneurs, reads voraciously, and eats & drinks her way through Chicago.

JESS & JOHN, AGED & INFUSED
We’re Jess and John are a good ‘ol husband and wife duo that loves making cocktails. Actually, they really love making cocktails. They’re proud, self-taught mixologists who learned from the best, each other (and the internet).
One holiday, Jess wanted to give her partner John a gift with a personal touch. Since they both loved whiskey, she threw some fresh fruit and spices into a jar, added his favorite booze and Aged & Infused was born. Having loved the experience (and the end result), they decided to make their home bar staple easy and accessible for everyone.
Mmmm, who doesn’t love the floral sweetness of lavender, blueberries, and tangy lemon infused with their favorite spirit? Dee Clements is a process-based designer who has a deep love of and interest in materials and craft. She holds an MFA in 3D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art and BFA in Fiber and Materials Studies and Sculpture from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
Studio Herron, is a design studio that focuses on textiles, furniture and objects that combine an artistic process and traditional craft methodologies with the utilitarian and the aesthetic. Studio Herron creates unique and beautiful work for the trade, commercial retail, private and public commission, gallery exhibition and the Studio Herron label. We've captured the sweet scent of those butterfly-in-the-stomach feelings in our in-the-mood (wink, wink!) room spray!
Rather than the classic floral expression, we've gone a bit more into the fruity-floral and created a fragrance that is romantic, a touch sweet but not cloying.

Deja Vu Foundry is our house-brand of natural, hand-crafted skin & spirit care made with organic botanicals and elements grown right here on the farm.

Concrete is a versatile material adding a touch of modern flair to any Decour. Each planter has been hand poured, sanded, and painted in small batches. Each one measures 3 1/4 x 3 1/4" perfect for succulents, cacti, or other small houseplants.
These parts are meant for the indoors and will not do well in freezing temperatures. Please keep in mind, they do not have drainage holes, as concrete can naturally absorb excess water.
